Parenting Through Family Change July Group

Monthly Online Group for Parents going through Divorce, Separations and Co-parenting Challenges

Learn how to utilize (ACT) Acceptance and Commitment Therapy principles to navigate parenting in midst of major family change including divorce, separations, and co-parenting challenges, with a supportive, small group of parents.

This group is for you if:

  • You feel stuck and powerless in a difficult parenting situation with co-parenting conflict or disagreements.

  • You feel isolated and alone in dealing with these problems all on your own.

  • You are worried how this new family change is going to impact your children’s mental health.

  • You find it difficult to be fully present and engaged with your children due to the high stress and uncertainty of your family situation.

What will the group cover?

  1. What research tells us about what keeps children resilient in midst of major family change and what we can do as parents to build resiliency in our children (and how to implement this into our daily parenting).

  2. How to role model your values to your children through your parenting, even in midst of parental conflict.

  3. Creating a plan to begin taking action on your parenting goals.

  4. Gain support and encouragement from parents going through the same challenges.

Time: Second Monday every month from 5:30-6:30pm

Location: Zoom

Cost: $50 per group session

Commitment: New parents are welcomed every month, as space is available.
